Your Super Treasure Hunt Game

A total of 60-100 different words for the 10 clues and congratulations message works well. Each unique word is converted into a unique heiroglyph. Try not to use words that will lead directly to a location without reading the rest of the clue. Example: if you write: 'Under the bicycle seat', the kids might check the bike as soon as they find and translate the 'bicycle' heigoglyph. Characters that are allowed: A-Z, 0-9, and: $ # ! . , ' @ & * ( ) - + _ / : %

1 - Enter a congratulations message

(example: "Well Done Brave Adventurers! - Happy Tenth Birthday Joey and Jill" - up to 15 words)

2 - Enter short clues for 10 hiding locations around your house

  • Click here for clue-writing tips and example clues you can use
    • Clues lead to hiding places in or around your house. A few simple words works great. Don't make difficult riddles.
    • Keep the kids moving, by not having successive clue locations near each other.
    • Short clues are better, especially for kids 10 and under.
    • I suggest to use very little or no punctuation or symbols
    • You may not use more than 12 words or symbols for any clue. For kids under 10 most clues should be just 3-6 words. A maximum of 100 unique words or symbols is allowed for all of the clues and messages.
